Hi,
I want to create a specific user in my wordpress install : this user would only have the right to view and export entries from VFB. Is there a specific capabilitie(s) in VFB to do that ?
(I use ‘User Role Editor’ to set the specific capabilities).

I’ve used Visual Form Builder for various websites for years. In the last few days, after completing a form, people have been receiving a “HTTP ERROR 500” error (even though the form actually completes and their form is recorded in Entries). I’ve tried changing the Confirmation, from a “Text” to “Page”, but that doesn’t seem to help.
The error said: The http://www.westjetpfaa.ca page isn’t working. http://www.westjetpfaa.ca is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500.
This is the first time I’ve seen this kind of error. Is there a fix for this?

Hi there, maybe i am doing wrong, I insert when I insert a pdf on file upload I get a warning saying: Please enter a value with a valid extension
On file upload I set the accepted file pdf|doc but still can’t find out what I set wrong.

Why does the form stop forwarding admin submissions every time there’s an update available? It resumes again as soon as update is done.
Is this really how it works? If so, I’d like to get an email every time there’s an update available so I can update asap and not have submissions go missing.
Any thoughts?

How can i prevent that vfb is storing my entries? It is a great plugin but the fact it is storing the entries is the reason i don’t use it.

Hello. I was using this plug-in for my contact form for a while, and after update of wordpress and plugin it stopped working. When I complete the form and click send it says me this:

Hi–I’m trying to create a form that has pre-filled text in HTML forms fields, (or textarea fields), but the form builder isn’t letting me add as much text as I need to. Is there a way to increase the amount of text allowed for a default value?
If Pro version accommodates this I’m willing to purchase. Thank you!

We are using version 2.5.1 of Visual Form Builder Pro. WordPress does not tell us that it needs to be updated. However, I noticed on your site that the current version is 2.9.2. How can we update to the newest version? Do we need to do it manually? If so, where can we download the files and are there special instructions. Same thing for the payments add on, we are at 1.4.5 but it looks like it should be updated (though WordPress isn’t saying so). Thank you.

Hi. This is outside of the normal functionality for this plugin, but I’m hoping you can suggest something.
The situation:
I have a page with a carousel, which displays data iterated from a 3rd party api using an ajax call. On the same template, I have a VFB form. I wrote some javascript to update one of the text fields’ value with data from the ajax request as the user advances the carousel.
To inquire about a slide in the carousel, the user clicks a button which opens the VFB form in a modal, containing the pre-populated field.
After the user submits the form, the confirmation message appears. Then the user can click out of the modal. The entry contains the data from the ajax request. All good so far.
If the user then selects another item in the carousel and decides to inquire about it, they open the modal again, but the confirmation message is still present.
I’d like to be able to reset the form from within a js callback function, after the modal closes, without forcing a full page refresh. Any suggestions? Is this possible?

Hi,
I am using VFB free version. Everything is working fine up to file upload 15MB. Confirmation is all fine – page and confirmation emails. But for the files over 15MB there is no confirmation (page/text) and also no confirmation emails. Just blank page! Still form is received in VFB Entries section together with the file. In the VFB Settings pane Max Upload Size is set to 30MB. In the Server error log stays ‘Error 500 POST /my-form/ HTTP/1.0’. I contacted the server administrators and they claim to have all the settings raised to maximum. Any idea what is causing this problem?

Visual form builder(Version 2.9.2) sends notification about the new registration to the first email only, not to additional ones.
First email is domain based – info@domain.ge
Other emails are hotmail, gmail and yahoo based emails.
What to do?

Recently, I was contacted by someone who was having trouble submitting a form. My other forms appear to be working just fine but this one keeps failing. Any ideas? Here is the output to my error_log file.

Hi!
I have a form on my website where I have three drop down menus on one row. All fields are set to small and to left third, middle third and right third respectively. However the middle one is more aligned to the left which doesn’t look very good. Is there any way to actually make it centered so the row looks more symmetrical?

We have the Pro version and the signature feature works great! I would like to show or export the signature along with the text so that I have a print out of each entry with the signature and what the customer has agreed to (text). We are using the instructions field to show the text on the form. Is there a better way or field to use so that the text is shown in an export and in the email confirmation to the customer but can’t be edited by the customer on the form?

Hello – firstly this is the best form plug in I have found and enjoy using this however I have encountered a slight problem. I am using the free version of the plug in and have created the form I wish to use.
I have selected the ‘redirect’ option when the form has been submitted so that my clients can go straight to my payment gateway however I would also like to receive an email with the information that my client has supplied in the form.
It appears that I can only select the one option from ‘text’ ‘page’ ‘redirect’ in the confirmation section.
Can anyone help me here please?

when i try edit or save new form i recived these error message:

i did update my php.version on the form, before i used normally without any problem.

I am using VFB free version – 2.9.2 with Wp Version 4.4.5. I have discovered this problem where as when form is submitted with file uploaded there is no confirmation (page/text) and also no confirmation emails. Just blank page! Still form is received in VFB Entries section together with the file. The form results fine if logged in as the an admin. Also results are fine with out file upload.

When not logged in and with page content not blocked, simple form used as Contact Us trigger a Local File Inclusion error. When logged in there is no error (the form does not present the numeric challenge to defeat robots). Browsers are Safari on iOS, Chrome on iOS, Firefox on Win7.

Email in email field,
Memo in multi line of text field.
When not logged in the form is asking for two digits to validate a human actor.
