Thanks for posting this, we do have a few reports of the issues and we are looking into it. It does however appear to be a problem with Wordpress and not with VFBPro, but we are looking at it and hoping that we will see a fix from WordPress soon as well.

Having the same issue. I noticed that the form does submit into the database, it just doesn't mail.
OK. I believe I have solved my issue.
Somehow, in a recent update (whether it was WP or VFB, I don't know) all my required fields got obliterated. That meant I had no required EMAIL field, which was causing WP to error out saying "Invalid Address" because it wasn't passing the user/reply-to email address.
Once I set the EMAIL field back to being required, I was able to assign the user's email above. Then tested the form and had no error.

Most submits on my web site are going well but a few receive this error message. What can I do to find out what in these specific case is going wrong?
And can the sollution mentioned in http://classic.vfbpro.com/faq/security-check-referal-does-not-match-this-site/ with the vfb_skip_referrer_check still be used?

I used my email credentials as suggested, but the testmails are not going through. I opened a ticket on this. They suggested that I contact my Hosting guys and I did. They had me do a test mail using smtp form the originating domain in question. That works.
I go back to try with your testmail and nothing. Please help as this is very frustrating!

having problems with a form showing up badly on mobile device. I have pro version. Is there a way to set it to go to a different layout for the same form for small devices?
Also when the form scales in responsive mode the checkbox and radio buttons are coming up on top of the option name.

Hello,
When I first installed the plugin it worked great. Now it is not saving the forms or emailing them. I show entries in the back office of my word press site from when it was working. So I know it worked at one time. It also emailed those that were saved. Now nothing.
I followed the suggestions of member jave.web. It didn’t help.
Any other suggestions to get the plugin to work again.

Hi,
I have an issue with the visual form builder plugin, it doesn’t show any forms nor can i create one.
The issue occured when I de-activated the plugin and tried to activate it again.
I have removed the plugin completely and then re-installed it but it didn’t resolve the issue.

Hello! Problem after upgrading to WordPress 4.6! Plugin generates an error when it try to send the completed form by email. On the site form is saved correctly, the problem only when sending email.

Hello! After upgrading to WordPress 4.6 a lot of plugin users reported about fatal error message after clicking “submit”. I have same problem but I see that problem not be solved in any way for several days. No plugin update, no tips for solving the problem, which would help to solve it.
Visual Form Builder is very important plugin for many sites but due to this fatal error the work of these sites is paralyzed. Please answer how long users should wait for the decision of problem or we have to start looking for another plugin for our sites? Thank you.

Hi, we have bought the notification add-on this morning to the vfb pro, because I want an extra option in the contactform that people can choose if they want yes or no on our mailinglist.
But I can not get it to work.
I see only possibility is that it adds all filled in forms to my mailchimp list. Am I right? But that is not what I want. What we want is that it only adds to Mailchimp when people has choosed the yes box to Stips Kunstnieuws on the form.

How do I fix that? I assumed that it was possible with this add/on but can not find out how. Or have I bought the wrong add-on?

I’ve noticed the last changelog does not mention the Sender issue…
It was reported here by more users already, not-right solutions were suggested…
E-mail headers play a GREAT role for most e-mail providers in analyzing whether or not is e-mail spam. One of the things that is often checked is if Sender&From mail domains match the initial sending server’s domain… so…
Reply-to e-mail MUST NOT be used in From: header or for Sender: header.
The headers From: and Sender: should both contain emails in this tructure:
noreply_or_anything_else@SENDER_WEB_DOMAIN
The bug was (before 2.9.2 update) in your plugin in the file handling emails on line 371:
YOUR_WP_INSTALL/wp-content/plugins/visual-form-builder/includes/email.php
Which is currently:
$headers[] = "From: $reply_to";
But should be:
$headers[] = "From: \"$from_name\" <$from_email>";
There is the same bug at (former?)line 396 …

The reply-to feature should be there, but it should be strictly separated from Sender header …
Otherwise many e-mail providers will KILL the e-mail on it’s way, that’s right, not just put it in spam folder, they will literally assasinate the e-mail before it arrives… 🙁

I just downloaded the free plugin to a one page domain – it is the only form plugin and wordpress is up to date. I can’t seem to make the autoresponder work – I did a test with a gmail.com account and it won’t send anything there. Would it be an issue with the plugin or perhaps our server issue?

When i send the form submission notification mail with user entered data to user, this entry also will be appeared in the admin site entries section with admin received form.

I have a form that a certain level of user needs to be able to add to a post. The VFB Pro shortcode tab is not showing up. What boxes do I need to check in user roles or how else do i make it appear for them.

Hi, I’m having a problem with this current particular site that I’ve never experienced in my other websites. The VFB forms file upload are not working. The Form itself actually works and can send the data entries via email. But everytime I upload attachment, it looks like it’s uploading and after it finished and I got message “Form successfully submitted, etc”
When I checked my email, the email came in with the data entries submitted but no attachment at all, both sender nor destination. I tried looking at the entries on the WP VFB dashboard but nothing at all. Usually the uploaded file goes to the upload directory in wordpress (Dashboard > Media) but nothing showed up. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
